There are times in all our lives when we face painful situations and decisions. We may feel a need for change, but not know how to achieve this. We may feel unable to cope with our present situation on our own but not know where to turn for help.
Counselling
Counselling Plus is a charity which offers confidential counselling to people aged 16 years plus, in the local area, at such times of stress, change, pain or loss. One of our main aims is to provide a service for those on low income or living on benefits. We offer:
- One to One Counselling;
- Counselling for young people between 16 and 25 including help for those affected by self-harm;
- Specialist counsellors who are trained to counsel people who have been raped or sexually assaulted referred by the Saturn Centre and also clients affected by domestic violence & abuse;
- Anger Management Groups Groups follow a 6 week course;
We welcome clients from all sections of the community without any regard to disability, gender, marital status, race, racial group, colour, ethnic or national origin, nationality, religion, belief or sexual orientation.
